LEO asset management solution in DSEi
“Companies that can effectively manage their assets and workflows have a competitive advantage over those that can’t. With LEO 2, we’re making our ‘Throughout the Product Lifecycle’ management available to everyone, enabling them to reduce costs and shorten development time,” said David Whitfield, General Manager of Asset Management Services at Microlease. “LEO 2 can manage any asset, task, or workflow. It’s especially useful in the test and measurement industry, where many organizations often have equipment that is either unused or unusable because it hasn’t been repaired or calibrated. The test equipment assets of a Tier 1 manufacturer or contractor can be worth tens or hundreds of millions of dollars, and some equipment can cost anywhere from $10,000 to $100,000, or even more. The defense industry needs to be confident that it’s making the best use of this resource to achieve high levels of efficiency and business performance.”.
LEO 2 features a completely redesigned user interface. It is now available via the secure Ministry of Defence Cloud (MoD Cloud) and includes standard Ministry of Defence reports and a KPI dashboard. At DSEi, Microlease will conduct six demonstrations of the solution's key capabilities. Leveraging Microlease's expertise in test and measurement asset management, LEO 2 provides defence contractors and other users with complete visibility of their assets through an intuitive portal. This allows them to quickly and easily locate the assets they need, eliminating duplicate purchases or leases. It also enables the identification of underutilized assets that can be disposed of, as well as the management of equipment calibration and maintenance, ensuring that equipment is always ready for use. LEO 2's open database is based on Oracle technology and is compatible with SAP, Oracle applications, and other leading ERP and financial systems.
Microlease experts at DSEi will be available to visitors to discuss their challenges related to managing their products throughout their lifecycle, share their experiences, and learn about available solutions.
