sf84909webBased on the highly popular Fluke VT02, the VT04 also incorporates PyroBlend™ Plus technology to provide four times the resolution of the VT02 and features a suite of automatic alarm functions. It's the perfect front-line tool for troubleshooting electrical, industrial maintenance, HVAC, and automotive applications.

The ultra-compact Fluke VT04 is fully automatic and has built-in intelligence to detect problems instantly, with no training required.

"Compact and affordable enough to equip an entire group, the VT02 and VT04 are designed to be by your side as top-of-the-line troubleshooting tools," says Jay Choi, Fluke Business Unit Manager.

The VT04 includes a number of advanced alarm features that help troubleshoot intermittent and capricious problems, including a high-low temperature alarm that flashes on the screen if it goes out of the range set by the user; it also includes image capture at intervals, from 30 seconds to one hour; and even an auto-follow alarm that starts when a temperature alarm is triggered and captures images automatically, even unattended using a universal tripod.

It displays and saves images as 100% digital, 100% infrared, and in three fusion modes (in 25%, 50%, and 75% increments), all with a field of view 40° wider than the VT02. Markers highlight the hottest or coldest spots on the screen. A temperature reading is provided at the center point. Images are stored on the included micro-SD card, eliminating the need to record single or multiple measurements. The VT04 IR Visual Thermometer also features a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.

The images generated by the VT04 can be imported into SmartView® analysis and reporting software to create professional reports that document problems detected or repairs made for review by management and the customer.

The VT02 and VT04 infrared visual thermometers are now available.
