Group has launched its eMobility management software in Spain, designed to remotely operate and monitor the charging infrastructure and allow electric vehicle users to access the entire network with real-time information. The software serves as the control center for the charging point network and is designed to be open and flexible, enabling the integration of new partners, business models, or additional value-added services.
The charging stations are managed by Bosch's eMobility software, allowing users to see the location of charging points, their availability, occupancy, reservation status, or out of service, use the entire network with the same RFID card or mobile app, obtain usage and consumption reports, plan routes, and even reserve a charging point in advance to guarantee their vehicle's charge. The software is available in four languages (Spanish, English, German, and Chinese) and can be accessed via a web browser or the Bosch eMobility app, developed for iOS and Android. Communication with the charging stations is handled through a proprietary platform to ensure data security.
Interoperability between charging networks, or eRoaming, has been established to allow charging regardless of the charging network operator or country you are in. This is a crucial factor for electric vehicle users, as it enables charging at any charging point, not just those managed by their service provider. Bosch's eMobility software is designed to facilitate this interoperability and is already being used across Europe.
