ROHM has developed SerDes integrated circuits compatible with full HD (1980×1080 pixels) (serializer: BU18TL82-M, deserializer: BU18RL82-M) and optimized for vehicle multi-screens.
Unlike typical SerDes integrated circuits (serializers and deserializers) that must be paired for each video transmission, ROHM's new BU18RL82-M deserializer can be daisy-chained to allow video transmission over multiple paths, using a single serializer.
