The in-person event this fall will also feature a digital component in the form of online offers. Industry representatives will have the opportunity to participate in productronica in person or virtually, regardless of the current circumstances. Falk Senger, Managing Director of Messe München, is optimistic about the industry event in November: "Over the past few months, we have worked intensively on safety protocols and are now exceptionally well-prepared for the restart with an optimal safety and hygiene concept. We look forward to welcoming many exhibitors and visitors back to productronica in person."
Comprehensive safety and hygiene concept
Messe München has developed a comprehensive health and safety concept in close collaboration with the relevant authorities. This includes significant new elements in addition to basic measures such as maintaining a minimum distance, wearing FFP2 masks, and tracing all participants. This includes the VCR concept: Access to the exhibition center will only be granted to individuals who have provided proof of vaccination, testing, or recovery. This information can be entered during the online registration process. Furthermore, Messe München offers on-site testing capabilities. Modern ventilation systems that ensure a regular and reliable supply of fresh air provide additional protection for exhibitors and visitors in the exhibition halls.
Positive signs from the industry:
Current developments in the field of electronic product development and production suggest a successful event is imminent this fall, as Rainer Kurtz, CEO of the Kurtz Ersa Group and Chairman of the productronica Advisory Board, explains: “In the first half of 2021, order intake in the industry performed very well overall. As the pandemic slows, exhibitors expect a positive business trend to continue this year and next. In this respect, productronica 2021 has every chance of being a superb gathering for the entire global electronics manufacturing industry.”
