Starting with 12V units with capacities from 7.2 Ah to 55 Ah, RS will market the range globally, with a view to adding more products from this manufacturer in the future.
Patented Lead Crystal® technology enables complete recovery from repeated deep discharges without compromising battery performance. High-current discharge capability ensures superior performance in applications with high peak energy demands. The batteries can operate in temperatures as low as -40°C and can be safely recharged up to 40% faster than lead-acid batteries. The average lifespan is 18 to 20 years at 25°C, and with minimal self-discharge, they can last up to two years without additional charging.
Lead Crystal® batteries are fluid-free, low in acid, and contain no antimony or cadmium. They are non-hazardous goods and are the only batteries classified as normal cargo under IATA regulations for air freight. They are 99% recyclable and can be processed more safely than conventional lead-acid batteries. They hold ISO certifications 14001 and 9001, and at RS they come with a three-year manufacturer's warranty.
Thanks to their exceptional performance and environmental credentials, these batteries are ideal as power backups for telecommunications or IT systems, renewable energy, or mobility applications such as wheelchairs or golf carts. They also have countless applications in industries such as petrochemicals, marine, defense, and healthcare, as well as in factory or office equipment that requires an affordable, long-lasting, and reliable power source.
