The LSH20 battery is especially recommended in telemetry systems where occasional pulses greater than 150 mA are required, since its internal design drastically reduces the passivation phenomenon typical in primary technologies used to power devices with long periods of inactivity.

The LSH20 battery, with a nominal voltage of 3.6 V and an open-circuit voltage of 3.67 V, features high pulse capacity that remains stable throughout its operational life. It also offers resistance to extreme temperatures, operating from -60°C to +85°C, and in some models, up to 150°C. Under storage conditions below 30°C, it maintains a self-discharge rate of approximately 3% per year. Furthermore, it boasts an operational life of over 25 years and offers a high level of reliability.


Saft's new LSH20 allows for continuous discharges of up to 1800mA and pulses of 4000mA for 0.1s, giving it excellent qualities for long-distance data transmission systems via GSM/GPRS.
