Intelligent inductive charging technology is needed for systems to operate efficiently. With its Wireless Charging Protection System (WCPS), the PUK Group is launching a charging protection infrastructure that enables safe, contactless power transmission even in demanding environments.

To meet the specific requirements of modern electric vehicles in industrial environments, the PUK Group, in collaboration with Wiferion, has developed the new WCPS charging protection infrastructure for the etaLINK inductive battery charging system. This cable-laying expert thus protects the charging electronics from environmental influences within a coordinated system. The robust design and flush-to-floor integration make the solution suitable for environments with frequent charging cycles.

The WCPS is a load protection box system that serves as a functional extension of PUK's cable laying systems, combining proven functionality with optimal usability. The system consists of two components: the continuously adjustable load protection housing, which accommodates the load pad, and the high-strength channel, which reliably protects the cable. Both units are connected via a quick connector. Visible and concealed cable laying options are available. The ability to retrofit existing environments with the system, with minimal intervention in the existing structure, provides greater flexibility. The protective cover is made of a very thin and durable PCX material, ensuring high resistance to pressure, impacts, and shocks. The system's maximum load capacity is 15 kN. The WCPS is designed for retrofitting existing buildings but can also be integrated into new construction projects with an additional formwork structure.
