Typical areas of use include battery-powered applications, measurement technology systems, or distributed power architectures for telecommunications or industrial electronics.
The compact 1" x 1" modules with an industry-standard footprint are available with a wide 4:1 input (RP10-AW: 9-36V and 18-75V) or a 2:1 input (RP10-A: 9-18V, 18-36V, and 36-75V), as well as with single outputs (3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V, 24V) and dual outputs (±5V, ±12V, ±15V). They can be deployed in a wide temperature range, from -40°C to +100°C (with derating, starting at 78°C depending on the model and cooling), and achieve a high degree of efficiency. Converters with positive or negative control logic are available as an option. Standard features include low input voltage shutdown (UVLO), as well as protection against short circuits, overcurrent, and overheating. The outputs can be adjusted within a range of ±10% and thus adapted to the requirements under load.
The modules have an integrated EMC filter and comply with EN55022, Class A, without external components. Class B can be easily achieved by connecting a small input capacitor (<10µF). They are UL-60950-1 certified and come with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty, the standard RECOM warranty period. Samples are available now from all authorized distributors.
