Despite its small size, the module can operate over a particularly wide temperature range from -40°C to 85°C without derating. When the power is reduced by 60%, it can even be used at temperatures up to 100°C.
The module is housed in a compact SIP4 enclosure (11.5 x 10.2 x 7.6 mm) that is barely taller than a coffee bean – ideal for space-constrained applications. The converters have an efficiency rating of up to 90% and can be operated with no minimum load. Thanks to the wide range of input voltage combinations (5 V DC, 12 V DC, 15 V DC, or 24 V DC) and output voltage combinations (5 V DC, 9 V DC, 12 V DC, or 15 V DC), along with optional I/O isolation of 1 kV DC, 2 kV DC, or 3 kV DC, this series offers the right converter for almost any type of industrial application.
The compact modules have an integrated input filter (according to EN55022 Class A) and operate without external components. They are IEC/EN/UL-60950-1 certified and, as is standard practice with RECOM, come with a 3-year manufacturer's warranty.
