The cost-effective RAC03-K/SMT series provides a 3W output at 3.3, 5, 12, 15, 18, or 24VDC from a universal 85 to 265VAC (120 to 370VDC) AC input in a package with a footprint of 27.7 x 27.83mm, including the gull-wing SMT terminations. The height is 19mm. The components operate at an ambient temperature of 60°C without power reduction (50°C for the 3.3V and 5V outputs) and up to 80°C with reduced power.
The components comply with common safety standards IEC/EN/UL62368-1, EN60335-1, and IEC61558-1, and are rated as a Limited Power Supply, reinforced insulation, Class II, and for OVCII surge protection installation up to 6000m altitude (IEC 60335-1). They meet EMC directive standards, including 'Class B' conducted emissions without the need for external components (floating output). No-load power consumption is typically 100mW, and the components comply with eco-design standards for standby use.
The RAC03-K/SMT DC outputs are regulated and fully protected against overcurrent and short circuits. Further enhancing reliability, the series achieves an MTBF of nearly 2 million hours according to MIL-HDBK-217, GB conditions at 25°C ambient temperature.
These high-efficiency, high-reliability components are ideal for a wide range of applications, including IoT, home/industrial automation, sensor power, and home and monitoring devices, as well as auxiliary power supplies in industrial products.
