The 2:1 inputs operate in a range of 4.5 to 9 VDC or 18 to 36 VDC and can be overloaded for 100 ms with voltages of 15 V or 50 V. They are isolated up to 3 kVDC/1s and achieve a degree of efficiency that goes beyond the 80% mark.
Initially, the 5V output versions will be available, with 3.3V models following shortly. The converters are regulated with an accuracy of ±0.2%, featuring tight power regulation of ±0.1% and load regulation of ±0.2%. They are protected against short circuits and can be operated without derating, using natural cooling, in a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C (24V version).
The new modules comply with the RoHS directive and are certified according to IEC/EN 60950-1, IEC/EN 62368-1, and EN 55022/24 standards. The MTBF (mean time between failures) is calculated according to MIL-HDBK 217F at 25°C with >2000 x 10³ hours. The converters have a 3-year warranty. Samples are available worldwide through RECOM's established distribution channels.
