They are available in both DIN rail and chassis mounting formats, offering this flexibility to the equipment designer. The encapsulation of this DC/DC converter helps protect it from environmental factors often found in industrial settings and also aids in heat dissipation.

These high-efficiency converters, with efficiency ratings ranging from 89% to 92%, operate with less heat dissipation and consume less power compared to other converters on the market. The 20-watt model, DTE20, measures 96.0 x 54.0 x 23.3 mm, the 40-watt model, DTE40, is only 112 x 63.8 x 25.6 mm, and the 60-watt model, DTE60, measures 112.0 x 67.8 x 38.0 mm. They feature two wide input voltage ranges: a nominal 4:1 24V (9–36V) and 48V (18–75V). They offer single regulated outputs of 5.1, 12, 24, or 48 VDC and 2500 VDC isolation for 60 seconds.

The DTE series can operate in a wide temperature range, from -40°C to +85°C. Full power is available up to +70°C depending on the model. They comply with international safety standards for IT equipment UL/IEC 60950-1 and EN55022 Class A for conducted and radiated emissions without the need for external filtering components.

It also includes protection against short circuits, overvoltages, overloads, voltage drops on the input line, and a remote on/off control for the entire range of converters. Front mounting for input and output via screw terminals simplifies installation.

The DTE series are available from the specialist local distributor VENCO Electrónica SA in Spain and Portugal, as well as from Farnell, element14, Digikey and have a 3-year warranty.
