Both series are available in through-hole and surface-mount versions. The industry-standard pin configuration of these converters makes them ideal replacements for 1" x 2" transformer modules. For advanced systems, the PRD series output voltage delivers fast transient response performance and very low ripple and noise. Furthermore, the series' high efficiency and operating temperature range of -40 to 85°C make them suitable for convection-cooled equipment. Target applications for the PRD15 and PRD25 series include microcontrollers, data communications, telecommunications, remote sensing systems, and portable electronic devices.
The PRD15 series is available with individual regulated outputs of 3.3, 5, 12, and 15 Vdc, while the PRD25 series offers 3.3, 5, and 12 Vdc outputs. They also include protection against overvoltage, overcurrent, undervoltage, overheating, and short circuits. All units have UL/cUL safety approvals.
