Due to the wide range of input voltages in railway systems, three different versions of the same design are typically needed to cover all input voltages from 24 V DC to 110 V DC. RECOM's RPA100H-RUW and RPA200H-RUW ultra-wide input voltage railway converters provide an all-in-one solution. Their 10:1 input voltage range supports all standard input voltages of 24 V, 36 V, 48 V, 72 V, 96 V, and 110 V DC in a single product, including all EN50155 transient limits. These converters are now available with 12 V, 15 V, 24 V, or 48 V outputs to power a wider selection of rolling stock and high-voltage battery applications. The converters offer consistently high efficiency across the entire 10:1 input voltage range and operate within a wide temperature range of -40°C to +93.5°C (with the baseboard cooled). The housing is equipped with threaded inserts for secure mounting to the printed circuit board or bulkhead for use in high-impact and vibration environments.
