The REM3.5E, REM5E, and REM6E series of regulated DC/DC converters for medical applications are now available with pin terminals or as SMD components. They feature reinforced, continuous 250 V AC isolation with an air/leakage line >8 mm, offer 2xMOPP, and are suitable for medical applications B, BF, and CF due to their very low leakage current of 1 μA. The reinforced isolation up to 10 kV DC is sufficient for virtually any medical application. The compact SMD versions have single or dual outputs precisely controlled with UVLO, SCP, OCP, and OVP. The modules operate over a wide temperature range of -40°C to +85°C without power derating and with an efficiency exceeding 80%. They are UL marked and certified to CB, IEC, EN, ANSI/AAMI 60601 3rd Ed. Safety and 4th Ed. CEM Medical Standard.
