Featuring Ericsson's pioneering HRR (Hybrid Regulated Ratio) technology, it minimizes power losses while delivering high power conversion from a wide range of input voltages. Efficiency can reach up to 96% with a 48V input and a 12V output at half load.
Because the PKB4413DA responds well to load and line transients, this ensures that the output voltage remains stable and is not affected by voltage deviations that occur as a result of disturbances in the system bus power supply.
Its tellurium copper pins provide thermal transport, while the module connects to a cold plate or heatsink via the motherboard. The thermal path from the thermally critical components to the motherboard has been designed to result in a flat thermal profile for the dominant elements, along with efficient heat transfer to the heatsink or motherboard.
The PKB4413DA comes in a standard eighth-brick form factor (58.4 x 22.7 x 13.2 mm), is designed for through-hole mounting, and offers 1500 V (DC) I/O isolation. It also includes I/O protection and operational features such as input undervoltage shutdown, monotonic start-up, and remote control, as well as output overvoltage, overtemperature, and output short-circuit protection. Its calculated MTBF is 8.5 million hours, and the module meets IEC/EN/UL60950-1 safety requirements.
