Power-One currently offers two different converters: the 240W HR2320-9RG model, with an input range of 15.4V to 150V, and the 288W HRP2320-9RG, which can operate with an input from 16.8V to 150V. Both converters have two galvanically isolated 12V outputs. They are fanless and feature high shock and vibration resistance, as well as surge, transient, overvoltage, and overload protection. The units are quite compact, measuring 168 x 111 x 60 mm (HR) and 168 x 111 x 80 mm (HRP). The R series complies with railway and telecom/datacom standards. It can operate in an ambient temperature range of -40°C to 71°C without drift. Other models with different outputs are in the final stages of development.

Railway converters with an input range of 10:1
The new HR and HRP rail converters from Power-One's MELCHER division, distributed by Factron, feature an extremely wide input range, allowing the same model to be used for battery voltages from 24V to 110V. They are designed to comply with the EN50155 and EN50121-3-2 rail standards.
