To power the onboard equipment, the Italian company RGM, distributed by Factron, offers a 150W DC/DC converter called ERTMS-BTM. The converter is designed according to railway standards EN50155 and EN50121. Heat dissipation is by convection; no fan or heatsink is required. It has three different output sections and is protected against overvoltage, overcurrent, and overheating.
