While the REC6K-AW series comes in an industry-standard 1” x 1” package, the REC6K-RW series uses the proven DIP24 format.
The new converters cover input ranges of 9-36 V DC and 18-75 V DC, respectively, and are available with single and dual outputs. Depending on the variant, output voltages range from 3.3 V DC to 24 V DC, and dual outputs of ±5 V, ±12 V, and ±15 V are also available. Output currents reach up to 1.5 A, with regulated power ratings up to 6 W. Both series operate with no minimum load, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial power supply applications.

Despite their compact design, both series offer comprehensive protection features. These include continuous short-circuit protection with automatic recovery, overcurrent protection, and overvoltage protection. Both families also incorporate an undervoltage lockout system. The REC6K-AW series offers 1500 V DC/1 min isolation, while the REC6K-RW series provides 4000 V DC/1 min isolation for applications with more demanding insulation requirements.
These series are also designed for harsh thermal environments. Depending on the variant, the converters operate at ambient temperatures from -40 °C to +100 °C, and up to +105 °C with power reduction. The maximum housing temperature is +125 °C. This makes the modules an ideal choice for applications in the industrial and automation, rail, energy, industrial machinery, and test and measurement sectors.

The REC6K-AW series is optimized to offer high functional density in a 1" x 1" form factor and, in the case of single-output models, also includes a ±10% adjustment function as well as an on/off control pin. The REC6K-RW series, in a DIP24 package, is aimed at designers who prefer a classic push-in solution and high isolation; optionally, a control function can be incorporated in variants with the /P suffix.
