The REC8 and REC10 are low-cost, high-performance regulators in a DIP24 package, with input voltage ratios of 2:1 and 4:1, respectively, and single or dual outputs. 2 kV DC isolation is standard, with 3 kV DC available as an option. The 10 W model's carefully designed thermal interface allows it to operate within a full industrial ambient temperature range (free convection) of -40 to +85 °C without derating, while the 12 W model operates up to +75 °C. Conversion efficiency reaches up to 85% across the entire input voltage range. Furthermore, efficiency remains high under varying loads, exceeding 80% at a 30% load. The high-reliability design enables an MTBF of 1.2 million hours.

The REC15 is a low-cost, high-performance 2 x 1 inch (5.08 mm x 2.54 mm) regulator that offers either a 2:1 or 4:1 input voltage margin with single or dual output and standard 2 kV DC or optional 3 kV DC isolation. Thanks to its high energy efficiency, this 15 W converter with a 2:1 input margin operates in the ambient temperature range (free convection) of -40 to +71 °C without derating. The converter features synchronous rectification for the higher current outputs, and the standard output voltages are slightly boosted to 3.4 V and 5.1 V, respectively, to compensate for any voltage drop in user applications.
All components in the series, from REC8 to REC15, incorporate power limiting on the outputs. In the event of an overload, no intermittent operation is required. These converters are also characterized by very tight regulation of the output voltage, low output noise/ripple, and feature as standard a "remote enable" pin useful for sequential activation/deactivation.
