The 93PM is scalable with modules from 30 to 50kW. Connecting these UPM (Uninterruptible Power Module) modules in parallel allows for various power outputs. By combining vertical and horizontal parallel configurations, the system power can reach 1 MW.
The static bypass capacity is selected according to the system's power requirements.
The Eaton 93PM UPS sets new performance standards for data centers, combining an unbeatable 97% energy efficiency in double-conversion mode (with the load fully protected) with over 99% in ESS mode, along with unparalleled flexibility and space savings thanks to its vertical or horizontal scalability up to 200kW. At the same time, it minimizes cooling operating costs thanks to the significant improvement in energy efficiency.
Madrid, Barcelona, and Bilbao were the cities chosen by Eaton to present its new UPS. Juan Manuel López, Eaton's PQ Sales Manager, welcomed attendees who were able to learn about all the capabilities of
this new equipment and see and touch it firsthand. Javier Martínez, Eaton's UPS Product Manager, also gave a demonstration showcasing the significant benefits of Eaton's essential Intelligent Power software, which simplifies power management in today's business environments.
The 93PM system, along with its management software, is the ideal solution for virtualized (or non-virtualized) data centers, as it facilitates power management and automates any action in response to a power outage; from the safe shutdown of virtual machines and hosts to the migration of virtual machines to another secure facility, thus ensuring business and production continuity.
It allows integration with virtual management systems (vCenter, XenCenter, Systems Center).
With Intelligent Power® Protector, only a hypervisor-level installation is needed to safely shut down all VMs (virtual machines).
Eaton Intelligent Power® Manager integrates automatically with the vCenter console.
The software is free for up to 10 licenses.
