Mouser also recently announced the latest ebook in The Intelligent Revolution series, part of the Empowering Innovation Together program. This new ebook, titled "Artificial Intelligence: A Multi-faceted Approach to Safety," is a collection of resources that examine potential use cases for AI and machine learning solutions. It also covers AI applications in healthcare and public safety, demonstrating how AI can lead to tangible improvements in these sectors.

The products mentioned above are available at Mouser and include the following components:

The Vizi-AI machine vision development kit from ADLINK Technology consists of a modular SMARC computer based on an Intel® Atom® processor and an Intel Movidius™ Myriad X™ vision processing unit (VPU). It includes the Intel OpenVINO software development kit, which integrates several pre-built, ready-to-use machine learning models. It also offers a suite of ADLINK neural model development tools. This kit enables developers of industrial machine vision applications to quickly prototype solutions that detect problems on the production line and provide actionable insights to improve operational performance.

The Maxim MAX78000 processor incorporates two 32-bit microcontroller cores and an ultra-low-power network accelerator in a single package. The microcontroller cores—one an Arm® Cortex®-M4 and the other a RISC-V coprocessor—handle system control and fast loading of the 442 KB convolutional neural network. The device is highly optimized for battery-powered IoT edge devices and is capable of inference 100 times faster while consuming one-hundredth the power of conventional microcontrollers. An evaluation kit for the MAX7800 is also available.

The NXP SLN-VIZNAS-IoT development kit adds facial recognition capabilities to IoT Edge applications and includes a "live" detection feature that prevents identity theft by displaying a photo. Based on the NXP i.MX RT106F crossover processor, the kit includes 32 MB of SDRAM, 32 MB of flash memory, a PIR sensor, and a combined Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy wireless communication module. Wired connectivity is also provided via an integrated Ethernet controller. A comprehensive software package is available through the MCUXpresso IDE toolchain and a VIZNAS software development kit that includes a "lite" version of the NXP OASIS machine learning vision engine.
