Low-power, small-format operational amplifiers
Household appliances and gaming consoles in the consumer sector; barcode scanners and gas meters in the industrial market; signal conditioning for proximity and tire pressure sensors in automobiles; and also medical applications such as glucometers and portable patient monitoring devices.
Other notable features include a maximum offset voltage of +/-4.5 mV and a supply voltage range of 1.8 to 6V for an extended temperature range of -40 to +125 °C. These operational amplifiers are unity-gain stable and operate with rail-to-rail input and output for improved performance across the entire voltage range.
The MCP6401/1U/1R are available in 5-pin SC-70 or SOT-23 packages, while the MCP6402 is supplied in 8-pin SOIC or 2 mm x 3 mm TDFN packages, and the MCP6404 in 14-pin SOIC or TSSOP packages.
These operational amplifiers are supported by Microchip's Active Filter Demo Board Kit (MCP6XXXDM-FLTR) and MCP6XXX evaluation boards.
