The combination of an advanced audio driver IC and fully audio-optimized MOSFETs results in higher efficiency, total harmonic distortion (THD), and EMI levels, allowing the IR43xxM family to operate without a mechanical heatsink across a wide power range with single or split power supplies. Their high-voltage and noise immunity ratings ensure reliable operation under various environmental conditions. Other common features in the family include overcurrent protection, thermal shutdown, internal/external shutdown, and a floating differential input. The IR4312M also offers clamping detection.
Two reference designs, the IRAUDAMP15 and IRAUDAMP18, are also available, incorporating the IR4311M and IR4312M models, respectively.
