as well as a configurable analog output that can supply power, current, or voltage through the single output pin. All power-related output values are also simultaneously available on the 2-wire digital bus, which is I2C™ compliant. Supplied in a 10-pin, 3x3 mm VDFN package, the PAC1921 is designed with the 2-wire bus to maximize data reporting and diagnostics, and also features an analog output to minimize data latency. The analog output can also be configured for use with 3V, 2V, 1.5V, or 1V microcontroller inputs.
The PAC1921 is ideal for applications in networking, distributed power, power supplies, computing, and industrial automation where latency is unacceptable in high-speed power management. A 39-bit accumulator register and a gain setting of 128 make this device ideal for power measurement with small to large system loads between 0V and 32V. It has the capacity to integrate more than two seconds of power consumption data. Additionally, the PAC1921 features a READ/INT pin for controlling the measurement period. This pin can also be used to synchronize readings from multiple devices.
The PAC1921 features support for the new evaluation board for the power and current monitor on the high-potential side.
The PAC1921 is now available for sampling and volume production in a 10-pin, 3x3 mm VDFN package.
