The TMPV7506XBG incorporates Toshiba's original image processing accelerators suitable for human recognition and can detect pedestrians day and night. Support for color cameras enables tone and color recognition of target objects, allowing for the recognition of traffic lights and signs. Since up to four camera arrays can be connected simultaneously, the TMPV7506XBG is also applicable to bird's-eye view systems and parking assistance systems that use image synthesis from data captured by multiple cameras.
The series also includes the Visconti2 TMPV7504XBG, which supports up to two color cameras. This integrated circuit is suitable for control systems that can simultaneously detect multiple targets, including vehicles, tracks, and traffic signals.
