Infineon OPTIGA Trust X, available from Mouser Electronics, is built on an advanced security controller based on NIST P256, AES128, and SHA-256 elliptic curve cryptography (ECC), along with built-in tamper-proof non-volatile memory to greatly enhance overall system security. As a turnkey solution, OPTIGA Trust X includes the operating system, embedded applications, and comprehensive host-side integration support, reducing design, integration, and implementation efforts.
OPTIGA Trust X supports a high-speed I²C communication interface up to 1 MHz. Typical current consumption is 20 mA, which drops to 70 µA in sleep mode. Compatible with the USB Type-C authentication standard, the controller is available in both standard (-25 to 85 degrees Celsius) and extended (-40 to 105 degrees Celsius) temperature ranges, in a compact 3 mm × 3 mm PG-USON-10-2 package.
