The Murata 25A Power Block from Mouser Electronics is a cost-effective DC-DC step-down converter with all components on a small circuit board. The power block steps down the DC input voltage using a synchronous buck converter circuit consisting of two MOSFETs, an output capacitor filter, an inductor, and a thermal sensor. With an input range of 7.0 to 13.2 VDC, the Power Block 25A delivers up to 49.5 watts of power, generating a regulated output of 0.8 to 3.6 VDC. Output load currents of up to 25 amps at 1.0V are supported. The Murata Power Block OKLP-X/25-W12-C is optimized for use with ZMDI's ZSPM10x5 digital controllers.
