The 24A AUIRGP66524D0 and AUIRGF66524D0, which leverage IR's COOLiRIGBT™ platform and are supplied packaged with a soft recovery diode, feature a low VCE(ON) to reduce power dissipation and a maximum junction temperature of 175°C for extremely high power density.
Supplied with standard-length TO-247 leads and TO-247 with long leads, the new devices also offer a short-circuit response time of 6 µs at 150°C. A square reverse bias safe operating area (SRBSOA) provides enhanced robustness. The devices are designed with a positive VCE(ON) temperature coefficient to facilitate paralleling in higher-power applications.
IR's automotive MOSFETs undergo dynamic and static device averaging testing, as well as 100% automated wafer visual inspection, as part of IR's Automotive Quality Initiative, which aims for zero defects. All new devices are environmentally friendly and assembled using IR's lead-free, RoHS-compliant Automotive Bill of Materials.
