This new family incorporates the regulator (MOSFETs, PWM, etc.) and the inductor into a single package, simplifying the design and reducing space. By adding just a few components (resistors and capacitors), we have a complete buck converter. 
The SiC931 accepts up to 24V at the input and can deliver up to 20A.
It will be followed by the SiC951 (higher output current) and later the SiC967 (higher input voltage).
