transformerThe measuring system is based on a Rogowski coil and a complementary measuring transducer. The measuring coil is flexible, allowing for easy placement around the busbar or conductor, even in confined spaces. Unlike open-core current transformers, the size and weight of the coil body are independent of the current intensity. A single type of coil can measure alternating currents up to 4000 A, with the added advantage that no dangerous voltages are generated by disconnection, which could damage the transformer or endanger people.

The measuring transducer converts the Rogowski coil's output signal into a typical secondary current of 0–1 A, similar to that provided by a standard current transformer, for further processing. The device accepts signals with frequencies ranging from 10 to 5000 Hz. This allows for the recording of harmonics and transients.

The optional bracket provides secure seating and optimal coil alignment, even on very hot busbars. Depending on the dimensions of the current conductors, three sets with coils of different lengths are available.
