Strato Pi Plus: Industrial Edge Server with up to four RS-485 and CAN FD interfaces.
At the heart of Strato Pi Plus is a hybrid architecture that combines a Raspberry Pi with a Raspberry Pi RP2354 microcontroller. The RP2354 operates independently of the main processor, managing critical functions in real time and system monitoring—including a completely independent hardware watchdog—ensuring fault detection and recovery without external intervention. The RP2354 firmware supports over-the-air (OTA) updates directly from the Raspberry Pi, enabling field updates without physical access to the device.

The platform offers extensive industrial serial connectivity, with up to four individually opto-isolated RS-485 interfaces featuring electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection, configurable line termination, and A/B line reversal, along with a CAN V2.0B and CAN FD interface supporting speeds up to 8 Mb/s, also with opto-isolation and ESD protection. This makes Strato Pi Plus particularly well-suited for applications requiring communication with multiple field devices, sensors, and actuators over long distances, such as industrial process control, building management, energy metering, and vehicle or machine integration.

Housed in a compact 4-module DIN rail enclosure with plug-in terminals for power, I/O and serial connections, the Strato Pi Plus incorporates a wide-range 10÷50 V DC power supply with overvoltage and reverse polarity protection and a 3.3 A resettable fuse. It also includes a 1 A 48 VDC relay output with normally open and normally closed contacts for local switching tasks.

Designed for 24/7 operation in demanding environments, the Strato Pi Plus integrates a high-precision real-time clock (RTC) with a temperature-compensated oscillator and replaceable backup battery, as well as an integrated Microchip ATECC608 secure element for hardware-based authentication and secure cryptographic key storage. The integrated Raspberry Pi offers comprehensive connectivity: Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth/BLE, four USB ports, Micro HDMI video output, and a microSD card slot. A pre-assembled active cooling fan is available as an option for installations with high thermal requirements.

Iono Pi v3: Compact and Powerful Industrial PLC

Housed in a compact 4-module DIN rail enclosure with screw terminal connections, the Iono Pi v3 integrates a wide-range 9÷28 V DC power supply with surge and reverse polarity protection, four 5 A 250 V power relay outputs, high-resolution analog inputs for voltage and current, seven configurable GPIOs with 1-Wire and Wiegand support, and hardware safety features, all in a form factor that mounts directly onto a standard DIN rail.

Iono Pi v3 is designed for engineers and systems integrators who need to rapidly deploy Linux-based control and data acquisition systems using standard industrial configurations and open-source software tools. Typical applications include industrial automation, building management, energy monitoring, access control, environmental sensing, and edge computing—in any environment where a compact, robust controller with real I/O and network connectivity is required.

Designed for continuous, unattended operation, the Iono Pi v3 includes a high-precision RTC with a temperature-compensated oscillator and replaceable backup battery, a hardware watchdog timer completely independent of the Raspberry Pi board, and an integrated Microchip ATECC608 security element for hardware authentication and secure storage of cryptographic keys. A pre-assembled active cooling fan (SPBF10X Strato Pi Fan) is also available as an option for applications with high thermal demands.

The integrated Raspberry Pi provides full connectivity: Ethernet, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth/BLE, four USB ports, two Micro HDMI outputs and a microSD slot, enabling seamless integration with cloud platforms, industrial protocols and a wide range of Linux-based tools and frameworks.
