The Visionary AI-Assist sensor solution consists of two components: the Visionary-B Two 3D stereoscopic camera and the AI-Assist software. The camera handles distance measurement, object detection, and environmental awareness both indoors and outdoors. The AI-Assist software uses artificial intelligence for person classification. This allows for the assessment of current risks in a mobile machine's work area and the issuance of targeted warnings.

The Visionary AI-Assist combines detection, data processing, and output in a single device. No additional sensor hardware, a separate controller, or a cloud connection is required. Using stereoscopy, the Visionary AI-Assist detects two-dimensional images from which three-dimensional point clouds are generated. Thanks to their robust mechanical properties, stereoscopic cameras are particularly well-suited for use in complex environments. The camera's field of view is adjustable (130° x 105° with a range of up to 16 meters or 90° x 60° with a range of up to 37 meters). Furthermore, the detection area for people or objects can be individually configured. This allows the system to flexibly adapt to various requirements.

Thanks to platform-independent configuration and viewing via a web browser, the Visionary AI-Assist is easy to operate. For secure technical connectivity, this system solution features digital inputs and outputs, Ethernet with REST API and RTSP Live Video Streaming, as well as CAN based on J1939. This enables flexible integration of the system into mobile machines for a wide range of applications.

The Visionary AI-Assist was developed for mobile machines and meets all the requirements for outdoor applications: a 10 to 57 V DC power supply, an operating temperature range of -40 °C to +55 °C, and IP67, IP69, and IPx9K protection ratings. The solution also complies with electromagnetic compatibility according to EN ISO 14982 (agriculture and forestry), EN 13766 (construction machinery), and EN 12895 (industrial forklifts), and its shock and vibration resistance has been tested.

The Visionary AI-Assist is suitable for both retrofitting existing mobile machines and for initial installation on new machines. Various accessories support vehicle integration in both cases. A range of sophisticated mounting kits (optionally with vibration damping) ensures long-term, stable installation on the vehicle. Power and Ethernet cables provide the necessary power supply and connectivity. A protective cover shields the unit from environmental factors such as rain, dust, and sunlight.
