Based on Danisense's closed-loop, compensated fluxgate technology, the DP12IP series combines parts-per-million (ppm) accuracy with a maximum linearity error of only 10 ppm and exceptional long-term stability in a compact PCB-mount package with a form factor of only 32 mm and a weight of just 250 g. This allows for integration into 1U power supplies and other space-constrained equipment.
The transducer supports current measurements up to 18 A and full-scale measurement resistances up to 100 Ω. It utilizes a fixed excitation frequency and zero flux detection at the second harmonic to deliver highly stable and accurate current measurement performance.
Typical applications include magnetic power supplies for particle accelerators, stable precision power supplies, precision servo converters for motion control, battery test benches, battery emulators, and power measurement and analysis systems.
“The DP12IP current transducer addresses the growing demand for highly stable and accurate current measurements in next-generation power conversion and control systems,” says Loic Moreau, Sales and Marketing Director at Danisense. “Its combination of fluxgate accuracy, compact size, high precision, and PCB integration makes it ideal for designers working on high-performance power electronics platforms.”.
