FBG MS-01 strain sensors combine accuracy and EMC immunity
The COFITEL Group presents the MS-01 type sensors from T&S, which benefit from the special high sensitivity characteristics of FBG (Fiber Bragg Grating) for measuring strain on the surface of civil works.
Fiber optic detection, which uses optical signals and fibers instead of electricity and copper, provides improvements in security, transmission distance, and resistance to electromagnetic interference.
MS-01 (S-MS) type sensors, which offer stability and reliability, are distinguished by high accuracy and ease of integration into multi-point measurement systems.
These high-performance FBG models are characterized by a resolution of 1 µε, accuracy of 10 µε, voltage/temperature of 8 µε/°C and a temperature range of -20 to +120 °C.
The new sensors have a pigtail diameter of 0.9, 2 or 3 mm (with custom length) and can work with FC/PC and FC/APC connectors.
