MICROmote® sensors are ideal for installation in confined spaces and on moving parts of machines and robot grippers, where lightweight components are essential. The cable connecting the sensor to the amplifier is extremely durable and flexible, allowing it to be bent for optimized mounting, giving these sensors an advantage over fiber optics in this aspect as well.
Some applications where these sensors excel due to their superior optics include small part detection, discrimination and identification of parts by height or position, object counting, liquid level detection (including foaming liquids), and bubble detection in tubes.
Detection types include diffuse sensors, barrier sensors, vacuum sensors, fork sensors, and barrier sensors with anchors for transparent or translucent tubes for liquid or bubble detection.
