Balluff now offers a completely new product line of these sensors.
Thanks to its display, the BUS M30M ultrasonic sensor series is particularly easy to use. Complete digital configuration of the sensor is possible. During operation, values can be displayed in mm/cm or as a percentage. This family of sensors comprises five variants and, with a measuring range of 30 cm to 8 m, covers a wide variety of applications.
All variants are available with one or two switching outputs, analog current and voltage outputs, or as a combination of analog and switching outputs. The sensors can be used in multiplexed mode as well as with automatic synchronization to prevent interference between them.

Measuring just 41 mm in length, the BUS M18M series ultrasonic sensors are extremely compact. A narrow sound lobe and a blind zone of only 20 mm make these sensors highly versatile. Two housing variants – straight and with a 90° angled head – are available, each with four measuring ranges up to 1.3 m.

The IO-Link interface is particularly noteworthy. Additionally, variants with push-pull switching output or 4-20 mA or 0-10 V analog output are available.

Also new are the BUS R06K ultrasonic sensors, which are especially small and housed in a rectangular casing. These sensors operate with particularly high resolution. For the most demanding measurements, performance can be enhanced with a focusing element. This allows measurements to be taken in deep bores and openings with diameters greater than 5 mm. For the simultaneous use of up to ten sensors in a confined space, this series is equipped with a synchronization input. The wide range of variants with switching output or analog current or voltage output, and with five measuring ranges, makes this sensor family suitable for virtually unlimited applications.
