Test engineers in the aerospace, defense, electronics manufacturing, and automotive industries now have an alternative for designing their mission-critical PXI test systems. The high-performance M9182A and M9183A DMMs measure common parameters such as Vcc, Icc, Vca, Ica, resistance (2-wire and 4-wire), and temperature. Each offers basic accuracies for one year of 30 ppm for Vcc and 300 ppm for Vca, and supports inputs up to 300 V. These DMMs provide 4,500 readings/s and 20,000 readings/s, respectively. These high reading speeds translate into increased test system throughput and reduced testing costs.

Both digital multimeters are compatible with PXI, hybrid PXI, and CompactPCI, including Agilent's recently announced mainframe PXI products.


Each DMM includes a complete software suite for easy system integration, regardless of the software environment end users have on their PCs. An intuitive software front panel enables DMM commissioning, measurement, and system repair without programming. These digital multimeters include IVI-COM, IVI-C, and LabVIEW G drivers that are compatible with C++, Visual Basic, NI LabVIEW, and many other PC software environments.
