The rugged, small-form-factor MCS1000 mission computers are ideal for I/O-intensive applications. The system features an Intel Xeon E3 processor paired with an E8860 CoreAVI (or AMD) GPU, up to 16GB of DDR4 SDRAM, and an XMC slot. This system is ideal for visualization computing applications for avionics, such as sensor fusion/processing, or as a data processor and visualization computer.
The rugged, high-performance, small form factor GVC2000 mission PC is ideal for applications requiring high-end data processing or visualization. It features a 12-core Intel Xeon D processor with 32 GB of RAM, paired with an NVIDIA Maxwell™ GPU capable of up to 1.2 TeraFLOPS. This makes it an optimized solution for demanding visual environments, rendering complex scenes, or multi-GPU processing. Like the MCS1000, the GVC2000 can support up to 1 TB of removable SSD storage.
Both systems leverage the scalable and modular Lightning platform, which is designed to allow rapid integration of customer requirements, offering customized solutions, but at the same time, at a reduced cost with shorter delivery times, due to its "in-house" development.

Beyond their modular architecture, these systems also feature modular I/O. I/O is often the most challenging aspect of any development with needs that include legacy interfaces or complementary systems, but both the MCS1000 and GVC2000 models incorporate Abaco's proprietary MMS technology and feature four ECM (Electrical Conversion Module) slots, each of which can accommodate any of the 20+ MMS I/O modules available.
Both the MCS1000 and GVC2000 are designed to meet a rigorous qualification process based on a selection of MIL-STD-461g, DO 160G, MIL-STD-704F, and MIL-STD-810G standards. This reduces the time and cost of deploying mission-ready systems.
Both the MCS1000 and GVC2000 support AXIS ImageFlex, an innovative software tool designed to significantly reduce the time, effort, and expense involved in designing and using real-time image processing and electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) image visualization applications.
Furthermore, the GVC2000 platform enables AI. It fully supports the NVIDIA Deep Learning SDK. This platform supports convolutional neural networks (CNNs), for example, enabling smarter object detection and classification with greater accuracy and performance than traditional procedural programming methods. On the GVC2000, ImageFlex allows for easy integration of trained neural networks into an image processing pipeline, as well as providing the resources to accelerate the tedious CNN training process, opening up new opportunities for augmented reality and situational intelligence to greatly enhance the effectiveness of military platforms.
