EBV Elektronik will serve target markets in Europe by leveraging Sequans' wireless components and EBV's engineering expertise. Sequans' product portfolio includes solutions for IoT/M2M, broadband/CBRS, and all associated evaluation and development kits.
Among Sequans' IoT modules is the carrier-certified Monarch GM01Q module, based on Sequans' Monarch LTE-M/NB-IoT chip, which offers low power consumption and supports 17 bands for global compatibility.
Also offered is the Sequans 'Calliope EU140Q' module, a Cat 1 module designed for European carriers, and two modules for the 3.5 GHz frequency band, one for Cat 4 and one for Cat 6 (Cassiopeia CB410L/CB610L).
In addition, EBV is working on an evaluation solution, which will include Sequans connectivity, a Cortex M4 solution with enhanced graphics capabilities, a finely tuned sensor suite, a secure element, and IoTConnect, Avnet's best-in-class secure cloud platform solution.
For customers serving the US market, a new and unique modem component called Monarch Go is available. It comes with a pre-installed antenna and is already certified by Verizon in the US. Monarch Go will also soon be available for select European carrier networks.
