Among the first actions planned to learn about the microchip development ecosystem, Jaime Martorell, special commissioner for the PERTE of Microelectronics and Semiconductors, visited the facilities of Televés Corporación this Wednesday, where two of its main companies, Maxwell Applied Tech and Televés, are positioned at the forefront of the design and back-end processes of microchips according to the goals set by the PERTE.

The PERTE Chip, approved last May by the Council of Ministers, was born as a project to promote the conception, design and manufacture of cutting-edge chips in Spain, achieving strategic autonomy in this industry, and positioning the country as a reference in the semiconductor sector and supply in Europe and the world.
