With this agreement, one of the most important in terms of professional training that Schneider Electric has signed, the company will also supply the Salesianos collaborating centers with the necessary teaching materials to deliver the courses (original documentation, manuals, etc.).
José Miguel Solans, Business Development & Training Director of Schneider Electric, and Juan Carlos Pérez Godoy, Provincial Superior of the Northern Province of Salesians Santiago el Mayor, were in charge of signing the agreement, which continues more than 15 years of collaboration between the company and the educational entity.
Schneider Electric currently has classrooms open at the Salesian schools in Atocha (Madrid) and Sarrià (Barcelona). “Our collaboration is based on the high quality of education offered by the Salesians, but especially on the culture of diversity they promote,” says Solans.
With this gesture, Schneider Electric reaffirms its commitment to training and demonstrates its responsibility and obligation to provide maximum support to the professionals and institutions that train the experts of the future. The agreement was signed through the Schneider Electric Training Institute, which has over 30 years of experience in technical training for both its clients and the educational community and currently has more than fifty collaboration agreements with universities and vocational training centers throughout Spain. This commitment reflects the company's conviction that the business and academic worlds must be more closely aligned to address the country's sustainability and competitiveness challenges.
