They offer 2W of power with single and dual output models, available in SMD format (model ISM02) or in an industrial standard SIP7 format (model IML02).
Its tiny size, only 19.5 x 9.8 x 12.5 mm for the IML model in SIP-7 capsule, and 24.0 x 18.0 x 9.0 mm for the ISM02, taking up less space on the PCB board, and in both cases allows the design engineer more space for other extra functions of the equipment or to reduce its size.
Both converters have an extended operating temperature range of -40 to +85°C for the IML02 and -25 to +105°C for the ISM02. They offer high efficiency in a very small form factor. These series are well-suited for modern, compact medical equipment.
The IML02 is available with four different input ranges: 5, 12, 15, or 24VDC, while the ISM02 is available with three ranges: 5, 12, and 24VDC. The ISM02 offers single outputs of 5, 12, and 15V, and dual outputs of +/-12V and +/-15V, while the IML02 has outputs of 3.3, 5, 9, 12, and 15V, and dual positive/negative versions of each of these voltages.
These converters comply with EMC EN55011 Class B (conducted voltage requires a small filter for the IML series) and meet the international medical standard ISO 60601-1.
These 2W converters from XP Power offer the latest technology, a market-leading extended temperature range, excellent efficiency, and compact dimensions, making them the next generation of converters for medical applications
The ISM and ISL series are available in Spain and Portugal through the local specialist distributor VENCO Electrónica SA as well as through Farnell, element14, and Digikey and include a 3-year warranty.
