All models are certified to the international medical standard EN60601-1:2006 3rd edition and ANSI/AAMI ES60601-1:2005. They offer a low leakage current of only 2µA maximum, and also 2 x MOPP (Means of Patient Protection). Furthermore, they offer reinforced double insulation with a maximum of 4000 VAC between input and output for one minute, with an input voltage of 250 VAC.
The JHL03 and JHL06 are available with single 5, 12, or 15 VDC outputs and dual +/- 12 or +/- 15 VDC outputs. They also feature two input ranges, 10–17 or 20–30 VDC, covering applications with nominal input ranges of 12 or 24 VDC.
The JHM15 features two 2:1 input ranges: 9-18 or 18-36 VDC. It offers single outputs of 5, 12, or 15 VDC and dual outputs of +/- 5, +/- 12, or +/- 15 VDC.
A potentiometer (trim) function is available on the JHL/JHM single output models, and provides +/- 10% adjustment of the output, to compensate for possible voltage losses in long output cables, or special applications requiring an output voltage close to the nominal voltage.
They comply with EMC EN55011 Level A regulations for both conducted and radiated radiation, without the need to add extra filtering components.
Capable of operating in a wide range of environments with a working temperature range from -40°C to +80°C, the JHM15 can deliver its full power range up to +60°C without power limitation. The JHL03/06 can operate from -20°C to +80°C, delivering full power up to +50°C.
These converters are recommended for typical medical applications that require a regulated, isolated, low-power converter with very low leakage current and reinforced insulation.
