The TLP241B, incorporating one of Toshiba's most advanced U-MOS MOSFETs, sets new benchmarks for performance. It is the first photorelay device on the market with a non-conductive output terminal voltage covering the entire 40V to 100V range. As a result, it can replace larger electromechanical relays, providing a more reliable, cost-effective, and space-saving alternative. By relying on contactless optical technology instead of moving parts, engineers benefit from its longer operating life, reduced system complexity, and faster response times.
The TLP241B also offers other attractive features, such as its rated conduction current of 2A (continuous) and 6A (pulsed). It also achieves a 5kV isolation level with an operating temperature range of -40°C to 110°C. This new photorelay is supplied in a DIP4 package. Gull-wing versions are available for easier surface mounting.
