ADI's MxFE Quad ADCs are designed for applications requiring both broadband ADCs and DACs to process signals with high instantaneous bandwidth. The AD9081 features eight transmit and eight receive lanes supporting either the JESD204C standard at 24.75 Gbps/lane or the JESD204B standard at 15.5 Gbps/lane. The device also includes an on-chip clock multiplier and digital signal processing (DSP) capabilities geared towards direct-to-RF broadband or multiband applications.
The AD9081 has two models available. The 4D4AC model supports the full instantaneous bandwidth of the channel. In contrast, the 4D4AB model supports a maximum fast bandwidth of 600MHz per channel by automatically configuring the DSP to limit the instantaneous bandwidth at startup.
