The 40V AUIRF8736M2, leveraging IR's benchmark COOLiRFET™ silicon technology, offers a 40% improvement in on-resistance (Rds(on)) over previous-generation devices to minimize on-resistance losses. The DirectFET®2 Medium Can power package with dual-sided cooling provides excellent thermal performance and low parasitic inductance.
The AUIRF8736M2 combines the performance of COOLiRFET™ silicon with the DirectFET®2 package, delivering a 40% Rds(on) improvement in the same footprint or equivalent performance to a Large Can device in a package that is 50% smaller.
The device is certified according to AEC-Q101 standards, its materials list is environmentally friendly, lead-free and RoHS compliant, and it is part of IR's automotive quality initiative, which aims to achieve zero defects.
