The InnoSwitch3-EP range simplifies the design and manufacture of flyback power converters, especially those requiring high efficiency and/or a compact size. It incorporates primary and secondary controllers and safety feedback on a single integrated circuit. The devices are available with standard and peak power supply options and are commonly used for automatic restart protection.
The InnoSwitch3-Pro range enables the development of high-efficiency, programmable power supplies in compact packages.
The universal I²C interface facilitates dynamic control of output voltage and current, along with numerous configurable functions. Telemetry provides reports on programmed functions and fault modes. InnoSwitch3-Pro integrated circuits are ideal for AC/DC power supply applications requiring precise adjustments of output voltage and current.
The InnoSwitch3-CP range incorporates primary and secondary drivers of high-voltage, safety-rated primary-side switches on a single integrated circuit. These devices offer a constant power profile and support common interlock and auto-reset combinations required for applications such as fast charging and USB PD designs. The devices are available with or without voltage drop compensation in the cables.
The InnoSwitch3 integrated circuits, comprising the EP, Pro, and CP ranges, are also available without PowiGaN technology, combining primary, secondary, and feedback circuits into a single surface-mount offline flyback switch integrated circuit.
