The GD32F350xx device belongs to the standard line of the GD32 MCU family. It is a new 32-bit general-purpose microcontroller based on the Arm® Cortex®-M4 RISC core, offering the best cost-performance ratio in terms of enhanced processing capacity, reduced power consumption, and peripheral set. Key features of the Cortex®-M4 include a comprehensive DSP instruction set to address digital signal control markets that demand a combination of efficient, user-friendly control and signal processing capabilities. It also provides powerful trace technology to enhance application security and advanced debugging support.
Features of the GD32F350
The GD32F350xx device incorporates the operating core of a 32-bit Arm® Cortex®-M4 processor running at 108 MHz with wait-state-free Flash access for maximum efficiency. This provides up to 128 KB of on-chip Flash memory and up to 16 KB of SRAM. A wide range of enhanced I/O and peripherals are connected via two APB buses. The devices offer a 12-bit ADC, a 12-bit DAC, and two comparators; up to five 16-bit general timers and one 32-bit timer; a basic timer; an advanced PWM timer; and standard and advanced communication interfaces: up to two SPI, two I2C, two USART, one I2S, one HDMI-CEC, one TSI (Touch sensing interface with 14 to 18 keys depending on the package), and one USBFS.
The device operates on a 2.6 to 3.6 V power supply and is available in a temperature range of -40 to +85°C for the Grade 6 device and -40 to +105°C for the Grade 7 device. Various power-saving modes provide flexibility for maximum optimization between wake-up latency and power consumption, a particularly important consideration in low-power applications.
The above features make the GD32F350xx devices suitable for a wide range of applications, especially in areas such as industrial control, motor drives, user interfaces, power monitoring and alarm systems, portable and consumer electronics, gaming and GPS, electric bicycles, and more.
